As we posted last week (http://www.plugincars.com/fuel-cell-cars-take-limelight-los-angeles-auto-show-130303.html), cars with plugs were hard to find at the current 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show (which runs through Nov. 30). On the bright side, electric cars and plug-in hybrids have emerged in recent years from futuristic concepts to actual vehicles on the road. With 20 battery-powered cars available to buy or lease—granted, mostly in California—what's left to show in L.A. except expensive and improbable plug-in prototypes.
The most remarkable PHEV at the L.A. show was the Audi A7 Sportback H-Tron Quattro. Audi replaces the A in A-Tron (which denotes a gas and electric plug-in hybrid) with the H in H-Tron to indicate a combination of battery and hydrogen fuel cell power.
